Antioxidants are nutrients found in all types of fruits and
vegetables, plants, nuts and seeds. They help to protect the
body from damage caused by toxic molecules called free
radicals. Free radicals play a role in the aging process and the
development of many chronic health conditions.
Antioxidants work by neutralizing free radicals before they
can damage cells. They do this by stabilizing them but during
this process, the antioxidants themselves become mild free
radicals and must be “recycled” back to their original form to
keep acting as antioxidant. Moreover, some antioxidants are
more effective in certain locations in the body than others,
meaning that you need to take the right ones for best results.
The vicious cycle of oxidation can be prevented through taking
advantage of the unique complementary interactions of an
antioxidant “strike force” of five networking antioxidants:
R (+)-lipoic acid, the vitamin E complex, vitamin C, coenzyme
Q10, and glutathione (GSH). Together, these essential nutrients
“recycle” one another, enhancing and extending one
another’s capacities.
Other antioxidants play a supporting role to the networking
antioxidants. The best understood of these network-boosters are
bioflavonoids and the mineral selenium. Among bioflavonoids,
carnosic acid and resveratrol are particularly interesting. Carnosic
acid is found in the herb rosemary while resveratrol comes from
grapes. Selenium also supports the network by maintaining the
body ’s supply of two key enzymes.

We Ship To Our Friends In The USA

Canada Post is our government-run (Canadian) shipping service. They work closely with elite USA shipping providers. Your order will be tracked from purchase to delivery and you will be notified as to your delivery time.
To date, our customers in the USA have had no delivery issues. In fact, some of our USA friends have contacted us directly and wanted us to know that their whole purchase process and (most importantly) product experience has been nothing short of perfect.

We currently do not ship outside of Canada and the USA.

Orders require 1-2 business days of processing time to be picked, packed and prepared for shipping. You'll receive a confirmation email or text when your items have been shipped.

Do I need to sign for my package upon delivery?

Yes, all orders require a signature. If you are unable to receive your package when its delivered, contact Canada Post for further instructions.

Oversized Packages

Healthstork Health Store. maintains the prerogative to apply shipping charges to individual items that are deemed to have an excessively high weight/price ratio...products to be identified as such on their product page. Shipping costs may also be determined based on the weight and dimensions of your order as well as the method and location of delivery (i.e. remote or international locations may incur additional shipping charges). Oversized packages are considered larger than 21 inches x 21 inches x 21 inches or heavier than 25 pounds.  Such packages may require us to issue you a special quotation for shipping charges.

Temperature Sensitive Items

Cold winter and hot summer months may restrict the ability to ship products. We will notify you if your order is affected.

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@healthstork.ca. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
